Can't Make A Decision? Just Go Make Jokes Instead....

What we ought to be doing.....

This from WaPo
President Barack Obama will not announce his decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan before the Thanksgiving holiday, senior aides said on Thursday. (wouldn't want to rush into anything--ed)

The news came as the president greeted 1,500 troops at Osan Air Base in South Korea, just before boarding Air Force One and heading back to Washington after an eight-day Asia trip.

Obama and his top military and diplomatic aides have been deliberating for months over how to proceed in Afghanistan, where the United States and its partners have sought for eight years to defeat the Taliban and deny al-Qaeda a safe haven from which it can plan and launch attacks.

Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, has stated that without the deployment of up to 40,000 additional of troops within the next year, the mission "will likely result in failure." But some aides are arguing for a much smaller troop increase, and the U.S. ambassador in Kabul, Karl W. Eikenberry, has questioned whether the Afghan government can be a reliable partner.

Obama arrived on the base 3:19 p.m. local time (1 a.m. Eastern Standard Time), and received a rousing welcome from 1,500 troops in camouflage uniforms, many holding cameras or pointing cell phones to snap pictures.

"You guys make a pretty good photo op," the president said.

Standing on a riser wearing a blue suit and red tie, with a cluster of troops and a large American flag behind him, Obama expressed "the gratitude of the American public" and said his meetings in four countries over eight days in Asia will help deliver a "safer more prosperous world for all of us."
Yeah, I would much prefer that instead of taking fucking pictures with the men and women that you supposedly cherish that you send them the help they fucking need to win a war you said that we "had to win" because it was a "war of necessity."

Stop lying to me Mr. President, because the politics of the past is getting very old...

Just So You Know: Senate Only Debating 10 Hours on ObaMaoCare This Weekend

This toolbag and the oxygen thieves he leads need to know what is going to happen to them if they pass this steaming pile of crap....

Legal Insurrection has it...

Harry Reid wants a Saturday night vote to open debate in the Senate on Reid's 2,074 page attempt to restructure the health care system.  What will the Senator then do? Actually start debate? No, they will leave for the Thanksgiving break.
So what's the hurry? The same hurry that Democrats have shown throughout the Obama administration. Everything (except Afghanistan) must be done before the American people have a chance to understand the legislation fully and to let their representatives know how they feel.

Do not underestimate Reid's cleverness:

Colleagues say Mr. Reid’s extensive knowledge of Senate tactics and well-honed understanding of what drives and divides his Democratic colleagues leave him well positioned to pull off a legislative coup that has eluded seasoned and determined lawmakers for decades.

That is why Reid kept the bill secret until two days ago. That is why he wants a vote on opening debate before the Senators head back home and feel the wrath of the public as they did in August. Once debate opens, Reid will have more opportunities to bribe Senators with earmarks and other public goodies, as Reid is doing with Mary Landrieu, to whom Reid has thrown a $100 million bone.

Harry Reid wants another Saturday night massacre, as happened when Nancy Pelosi pushed through a Saturday night vote on the House bill, eeking out a slight victory after arm-twisting and policy slights of hand.

And here's a list of who you need to call to give them the message and there is more info and phone numbers HERE

Sen. Mary L. Landrieu (D LA)
202-224-5824

Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (D CT)
202-224-4041

Sen. Blanche L. Lincoln (D AR)
202-224-4843

Sen. E. Benjamin Nelson (D NE)
202-224-6551

Sen. Mark Warner (D VA)
202-224-2023

These people need to know that if they ram this down our throats in 2009, we are going to ram it up their ass in 2010.  Let them know that they work for you and if they don't do what you tell them, that there is going to be some "regime change" coming their way, followed closely by unemployement.

Evidently, Another Talent That President Fuckstick Has is Math...

Maybe, "All Hail the Mathlete."

This is from Don Surber at the Daily Mail

I know it sounds impossible to quantify jobs saved, but President Obama contends that he can.

But just as incredibly, the Associated Press figured out a way to check that “fact.”

Apparently, giving someone a pay raise is counted as a job saved.

I suppose giving a person a pay raise does mean his job is safe.

Much easier to discredit was the president’s claim that he saved 935 at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council. The council employs 508 people.

So now, in Bizarro World 508 = 935. Sounds like frat "beer math" to me.

New CIA Document Dump Proves That Enhanced Interrogation Techniques Used on Terrorist Ass-Monkeys Were Wildly Successful

How you like me now bitch??

Coming to the Jester's Axe via the Weekly Standard

According to a release this morning from Judicial Watch, the most recent CIA docu-dump regarding its detainee interrogation program turns up a couple of new nuggets showing just how vital this program was to national security. JW highlights the CIA’s official confirmation of what many have known for a long time: "Detainee reporting accounts for more than half of all HUMINT reporting on al-Qa'ida since the program began..."

Further, the newly released June 1, 2005 and the July 12, 2005 reports reached the same conclusion as the previously released June 3, 2005 report:

"One of the gains to detaining the additional terrorists has been the thwarting of a number of al-Qa'ida operations in the United States and overseas."

JW’s president, Tom Fitton succinctly summarizes these findings in his release,

"All of these CIA documents come to the same conclusion: Detainee interrogations are effective and have helped save lives in the United States and overseas,’ said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. ‘The Obama administration initially attempted to conceal the effectiveness of detainee interrogations by cherry picking documents to support its view on the interrogation program. We're pleased we have been able to provide the American people with more of the truth about the effectiveness of terrorist detainee interrogations."

Half of all the intel from this? HALF??? When you get half of everything you need for a project, you could say you are well on your way to a smashing success...

Nanci Pelosi and the rest of the traitors and terrorist loving assholes in their party can fuck off, because they sleep safe and warm because of the men who are prepared to do what is necessary to defend a nation and save American lives.

GOP Produces Health Care Bill In The House....

About God-Damn time....

From the Washington Times

WASHINGTON (AP) -- After months spent criticizing Democrats' health overhaul plans, House Republicans have produced a draft proposal of their own. It's much shorter and focuses on bringing down costs rather than extending coverage to nearly all Americans.

A 230-page draft was obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press. A spokeswoman for Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, said changes were still being made before the bill would be finalized in time to offer as an alternative when Democrats begin floor debate on their bill, possibly at the end of this week.

The bill leaves out a number of the key features of the Democrats' 1,990-page legislation, such as new requirements for employers to insure their employees and for nearly all Americans to purchase insurance. It also doesn't block insurers from denying coverage to people with pre-existing health conditions, as Democrats would do.

Instead, the Republican plan increases incentives for people to use health savings accounts, caps non-economic jury awards in medical malpractice cases at $250,000, provides various incentives to states with the aim of driving down premium costs and allows health insurance to be sold across state lines.

"As Leader Boehner has made clear, our proposal will focus on the No. 1 concern of the American people -- reducing health care costs, and we do it at a price tag our nation can afford," said spokeswoman Antonia Ferrier, though Republicans have not said how much their bill would cost.

"Our proposal will help struggling middle-class families and small businesses by increasing access to affordable, high-quality health care," Ferrier said.

Maybe the GOP will actually be an "opposition" party at last. Or maybe, they finally see that Americans have decided that they don't give a shit about the "R" or the "D" next to someone's name.

Or maybe, they hear the footsteps and can feel the hot breath of the monster that is hot on their ass....
