I guess they need to start lowering the testing standard, because when you hire law school grads, engineers, foreign language grads and accountants (which should have been a plus in this case), this is what you get.

In at least one case, a wiretap used in a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act investigation "was halted due to untimely payment," the audit found. FISA wiretaps are used in the government's most sensitive and secretive criminal investigations, and allow eavesdropping on suspected terrorists or spies.

I heard someone comment today that they couldn't believe the phone company would shut down the FBI's lines. Now, do you suppose that the phone lines were registered to the FBI? Kind of makes the whole surveillance/secrecy moot.
