Anyone else think this little line buried in a See B.S. news story about the oil platform that sunk and is leaking is a little out of place?
Mr. Obama said SWAT teams were being dispatched to the Gulf to investigate oil rigs and said his administration is now working to determine the cause of the disaster.
As anyone who knows what SWAT Teams are for, why in the world do you need one of those during an environmental disaster???
Why do men with body armor and guns need to go and help clean up an oil spill? Does he mean "investigate" as in "sweep and clear them of any possible hostiles" or "arrest the evil oil executives who are present."
Hmmmm....

I know alot about S.W.A.T. ATF FBI and police, but i do not know in any reason why a SWAT team is needed for an investigation, what can possibly go wrong, why would you need special weapons, gear, and tactics for this?
The only thing I know when SWAT is needed is when there is something major like a bank robbery, barricaded suspect situations, major chases involving suspects that are armed and dangerous.
